Why this site exists

Every OSRS player eventually asks the same questions: what are my odds, how dry am I, how long will this take, and is it worth it? The answers are scattered across slow pages, spreadsheets and Reddit threads. OSRSCalc puts them all in one fast place, with the math shown, the data sourced, and no ads, accounts or trackers anywhere.

Who's behind it

OSRSCalc is built and maintained by an independent developer and OSRS player. It started as a personal tool for checking drop odds and grew into a site worth sharing. Every calculator, formula and preset rate on the site is checked by hand before it ships.

How it's built

The site is static HTML with the calculators running entirely in your browser; your numbers never leave your device, because they're never sent anywhere. Formulas come from the official OSRS Wiki and are unit-tested against known values (a maxed main must compute to combat 126; level 99 must cost exactly 13,034,431 XP). Drop and pet rates are re-verified against the wiki and every change is logged publicly in the changelog. Full details are on the methodology page.

How OSRSCalc makes money

It doesn't. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsors, no donations and no user accounts. The site costs a few dollars a month to run and that's fine. If that ever changes, this page will say so before a single ad appears.
